She was released yesterday evening. Other arrestees from over the weekend have not been so lucky.
I've been monitoring the unprecedented preemptive police raids and preventative arrests via the indymedia site for the Twin Cities. I watched all of Uptake media's videos on Sunday. The third URL below is for the group which planned to disrupt the RNC.

Yes, Gustav and Palin are the big news. But just under the radar is the use of police (by the Republicans by the way, the county sheriff who seems to be the main source of the raids, bogus warrants and arrests is a staunch Repub who is about to leave office. It's theorized that he's currying favor with the party Big Guns to get a job somewhere down the line. Plus the preemptive raids and arrests are "right" in line with current domestic security policy, "Damn the Constitution Full Dungeons Ahead!!!??") to head off protest by raiding meeting and housing sites and arresting the leaders before the actions take place.
This has been done in the past, but not quite as preemptively as this time. There are some big violation of civil liberty settlements coming in the next few years! Of course MSM won't cover them. Just like they're not covering these excessive police actions.
The irony is that a MSM reporter was just arrested yesterday in Denver for filming big Dems and their contributors from in front of the hotel where they were hobnobbing. Apparently the sidewalk in front of the hotel is now considered private property, in spite of decades of court precedence saying otherwise!
I've also been forwarding Starhawk's accounts of what is going on in Minneapolis / St. Paul to my dansc and gjdanscinfo lists. Those are my political lists, one for action the other for general information, for anyone interested in political action and related information.

The overuse of police force is not happening just under this administration but also occured under the Clinton administration. It does not just happen at the RNC but also the DNC:

You're not gonna get rid of it by "voting the bastards out" and voting for Obama because this stuff is under the globalists' direction who control both parties. It's not left/right. But they're counting on your thinking it is, so that they can further erode our rights with the next administration, be it Democratic or Republican. Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch has held fundraisers for Hillary Clinton!
Laws which allow this type of abuse of our liberties have been passed by both parties. The Military Commission's Act, John Warner Act, Patriot Act, Patriot Act II, Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act, all under the guise of fighting terrorism. But the trick is that they redefined "terrorism". For example, being against the war is now considered terrorism.
