One that comes to mind is Treehorn on 4th Street in downtown Santa Rosa. I haven't been there for some time but think they're still operating.

If you're trying to sell something to them, they won't take anything and everything, but they'll check out what you have and give you a price. The rest you can take up the street to the Main Branch Library drop-off.
