I thought the food at Peter Lowell's was ok, nothing spectacular. The staff was pretentious, I agree.
Here's what irked me the most: extra charge for a plate of bread.
I've yet to find another restaurant that charges for bread...that's what I call nickel and diming.
My favorite restaurant is Himalayan Tandori, across from Fircrest. I've been several times and the food has been excellent every time. The staff and owners are genuine & friendly.
