I have had ATT broadband wireless service for a few months now and have had quite a bit of trouble. Mostly, I think the 2WIRE wireless antennea are crappola to start with, but has anyone else had any problems?

Not sure if the area I am isn't the problem...lots of old lines, high number of lines everywhere (condos, apartments, homes with multiple families and thus multiple phone lines.)

Comcast wasn't that fast...but this is worse than the SBC (ATT) DSL I had previoulsy. Although, from what I understand they are connecting you wirelessly to the dsl lines...so how much faster could it really be?

Are there any GOOD local companies offering wireless connectivity (in town)?

I have AT&T 2WIRE and live in a location similar to what you described and I have had relentless problems, including interference with my telephone so my conversations are constantly interrupted. I would love to find an alternative! I'm paying for phone services that don't work properly and my internet connection fails at least once a day. I have done a fair amount of research and in my area the options for what I want are virtually zero from what I've found.
