I am looking for music for use as background in our Living Landscapes HD series. We are the local producers of a collection of high definition video programs described on our Website at : https://www.hdenvironments.com. As small independent producers, we prefer to use the music of independent
musicians instead of the music libraries many producers depend on.
While we don't have the budget to pay for original compositions or to
license published music handled by large publishers and rights
agencies, we are happy to pay independent musicians at the same
rates we buy from music libraries:
The rates we pay for non-exclusive permission to use existing music
are as follows:
needle drop fee for use of any portion of cuts over 5 minutes = $100
needle drop fee for use of any portion of cuts under 5 minutes = $50
program fee for one entire program using one artists music = $1,000
Rights are worldwide in perpetuity but non-exclusive (you still own
your music and can use it for anything you wish). You will receive
music credits on the program including contact info for music
purchase if you wish. You can also buy finished programs from us
at our lowest wholesale price to sell if you wish.
If you have any instrumental music that you fully own that would be
suitable as soundtrack to go with our nature footage, please send
CD's to:

Once we have your CD's in our music library we will contact you and
send you a release form for any cuts we decide to use. Upon receipt
of the signed release, you will be paid at the above rates.
