Dear Waccovians,

Can anyone out there tell me about your experience, and therefore suggestions, about upgrading my Mac from Panther (10.3.9) to Leopard (10.5.1). I have an iMac G5 1.8Ghz with 1.25G ram. And yes, I have backup on a 250G external hard drive using SuperDuper.

I'm looking for hints that will make the installation as painless as possible. Any info would be much appreciated.

Patrick

(And according to Barry, any replies to this posting won't get to me because of the Yahoo blocking problem, so if you can offer any suggestions, please email to: [email protected] ...Thanks!)

I may have been wrong in my previous reply (which I think was private, for no reason other than that I didn't realize it). My current Mac dude said you should have no problem going from Panther to Leopard. If you have particular concerns, consider checking out some of Apple's on-line forums. I just checked the general tech requirements for Leopard at apple.com and it like you're fine as far as Ghz and ram go. Have fun.
