Harvey, I am assuming your dog is a purebred? If so, you can contact the breeder whom you bought the dog from and he/she should take the dog back. No questions asked. If, on the otherhand, you bought this dog from a pet store or backyard breeder, I am afraid you may have to search a bit longer for a solution.

Harvey,

You might contact german shepard rescue in our area and ask if they can do a courtesy post for you or make a small donation for them maybe putting her on there website, alot of the rescues including myself require they be up on vaccinations, heart worm tested, and spayed .

If your doing the work ask them for vet refs. make them do adoption form, have them sign contract with you.

Always ask for Vet Refs.
and to look at there Drivers Lisence , why? shows, and matches there address to the adoption form ,, you have no idea how many people are not honest, it insures the safety of your beautiful shepard.
You could also ask small adoption fee, and donate it to a trainer to work with your dog,, win win for both dog, and new owner.

Good Luck

I would be very interested in meeting your dog to see if her and I get along. I love animals and live a very active lifestyle. She would spend a lot of time in the mountains with me and she would always be outside and getting lots of love. I don't have kids but I am hoping that will happen for me in the next few years. Fingers crossed! Does she have any history of trauma or abuse? Any neglect? These things don't turn me away from being interested but I would like to know how and what I have to work with. Has she been around other dogs a lot or not so much? How much running time did she get every day? thanks a bunch
