A magic mix of wax and wick
Bursting forth...
In flames so quick
Dancing fire so sweet and nice
Melting hearts so long on ice~
Staring deep into the wispy fire
Just can't hold my weakening ire
Giving in to the beckoning flame
The soul releases...
Guilt and shame~
The droplets of wax
Drip gently down
Soft caressing from stem to stern
Slowly hardening on its journey
Releasing in flight from base to holder~
The midnight hour approaches quickly
It's flame has ebbed into a waxen pool
A red hot ember glows into extinction
So goes the candle of seduction
