buddy list/ignore list

Not that I really want to add to your to do list, but...

I scrolled down to "statistics" and saw a link to "newest memeber". When I went there I saw the opions "add to buddy list" and "add to ignore list". What do these options do?

I did a search for buddy list and nothing came up.

The idea is that you could easily tell if one of your buddies was online (there user ID would be marked with a "+". But I took out the list of online users to simplify the interface and it didn't seem relevant to us. I just haven't gotten around to completely removing the buddy system.

The ignore list could be handy if you want to never see a post from somebody. Hopefully there won't be a need for it here.
