My disappearing posts

Hi!

I was looking for some old posts of mine from a dialogue with one Joel Solomon ("avesol5") from a couple of years ago. I'm pretty sure they were on this site rather than the old Yahoo Wacco. I can't find them, and avesol5's profile indicates that he supposedly has never posted here. Is it possible that he was the initiator of the relevant thread(s) and deleted his initiating post(s), thus making the whole thread(s) disappear? I don't think that would change the "Total Posts" number on his profile to 0 anyway, would it? Please, what is the reason for my disappearing posts?

I'm also wondering why I'm listed as having made 291 posts while only 262 are shown on the "all posts by Dixon" list. I've deleted a few myself, but surely not 29 of them (I think).

Some old posts in the events, housing and for sale categories have been removed for simplicity (and by request).

My plan is to move old posts into the archive to remove clutter and supporting members will have access to it.
