Have you fixed a maytag neptune?

I am attempting to fix my Neptune washer, it initially wouldn't spin. I fixed the Q6 and R11 and replaced the wax motor for the door. Still has the same problem. Right now I am overriding the door lock so we can wash clothes. Has anyone been through this?

I've pretty much rebuilt mine from the ground up, refusing to give up on it.

I wonder if your wax motor was installed correctly? ... or if it's a defective unit?

You might have to do numerous searches before you find the information you're looking for, but it's probably in there. That site is the best place for appliance repair on the Web, as far as I know, and I've done a lot of looking.

There is also a fellow that sells repair kits on ebay. His ads contain links to repair instructions and some of them include videos and tips on how to avoid problems. Well worth looking up. Search on Maytag Neptune and you'll find him.
