YOU CAN HELP GET NUTRITIOUS MEALS OUT TO THE WORLD IN TWO WAYS
Please forward me your favorite recipe(s) where one of the main ingredients is either rice or beans - or better yet, both! The recipes can be any category (i.e. main dish, side dish, cold, hot, soup, dessert, other)
Your contributions will be made into a cookbook, with all profits going toward ending hunger (yes, rice and beans for those in need).
If your recipe is selected, you will receive a free copy of the cookbook, so please include your shipping address. If you have a story about your dish, please include it along with whom to credit for the dish, and their/your hometown and state.
And for those of you whose approach to cooking is “a little of this” and “a little of that,” please refer to ingredients in amounts such as “2 large onions, 1 1/3 cups brown rice, 2 tablespoons butter and 1/2 teaspoon salt”. Also please include details like baking temperature, cooking and preparation time, and number of servings.
