Seeking Picnic site with walking (dog friendly)

Any suggestions for hiking and picnicking site for this Sunday? Must be OK for leashed dogs. - I know it's Memorial Day weekend, so we won't expect privacy, but we do hope for beauty and no boom-boxes. -- It's our anniversary! :heart:

Try going to Pinnacle Gulch which is near Doran Regional Park. Trailhead accessed via Bodga Harbor private housing - off highway one in Bodega Bay just prior to turning into Doran Beach. Hike down the trail to the small cove on the beach. I think it is 4$ to park.

2nd suggestion: go to Foothills Regional Park and go around the middle lake to the back. no picnic table but not many people hike around the three lakes.

Sonoma Valley Regional Park might not be too crowded either. If you park on Arnold near Eldridge ( sonomaDevelopmental center ) its free. park in the lot on 12 and i think 4 or 5$ but a nice little dog park as well.

FYI - remember that you may not bring a dog on any trail in a state park and not in Shiloh regional park either, but that most other County parks are OK with dogs, and in the State park your dog can be on the paved road and at your picnic table.

Helen Putnam park behind Petaluma is good for dogs too - it has some nice views. We picnic'd by the pond last week and then walked around the ridge.

Riverfront Regional Park in the northwest corner of Windsor has a lovely, shady picnic area, has a lovely wide multi-use path that circles the lake. The dogs really seem to like it.
