If you define debate as right-wing, racist, zenophobic, shit-disturbing, and reactions to it, than I think you need to revisit the definition.

R&R was/is a closet fascist and white supremacist. His "hate" speech was straight out of the nativist anti-immigration playbook. (With their poorly concealed links to KKK, Neo-Nazi and white supremacist skinhead organizations.)

His "in your face" style was tolerated for far too long.

Good riddance.
