I don't know of a senior singles scene, exactly, but I would advise your mother to pursue activities she loves to meet like-minded men. There are lots of places to social dance, for example. A health club is a place to meet people into fitness. The county offers plenty of lifelong learning courses if she'd enjoy pursuing literature or computers or learn another language.
