A black cat came in as stray and while on the stray side scratched an inmate, who cleans the cages.
Unfortunately the shelter is full, the cat was quarantined due to the scratch,and the cat is black
so it's time is up. Maria just emailed me and said the cat is slotted to be euthanized tomorrow
if no one can take. She did not hold the cat, but said the cat seems nice. She was able to pet it in the cage.
The vet has not looked at it so I cannot tell you anything medically.
If you might be able to help,
please let me know and I will ask them to hold the cat through the weekend.
