GVC Restoration Supporters,
Because this spring has not brought the kind of rainfall that will head off a die-off of our planted trees on the Martinelli Ranch restoration site, we need to do an intense saturation of both sides of the banks while there is sufficient flow in the creek. This means pumping water from the creek onto both banks and letting the water sink into the soil.
We will start this on Friday, May 16, at 11 am at the Martinelli Ranch. We will continue this Sunday, May 19, starting at 9 am. Please let us know whether you can help out either or both days. We will have a couple of mechanical pumps and some kind of water cannon that Dean will provide. Thanks for your interest.
