The real demon is greed and yes, its holds most of us in its terrible grip, at least from time to time.

Pray for release.

Demons and splash and greed, oh my!

Shall I get garlic and christian crosses? (But aren't christians the only ones who believe in demons?)

What are we to do?

Actually, Christians, along with Buddhists, Shintoists, Moslems, general Animists, all religions in the Southern Hemisphere of the equator, and.....well, it seems that atheists are the only ones that don't! And of course, they're not worth believing in either. Oh, yeah, and solipsists don't as well. Of course you can count on one finger in what they "believe".

There is no such thing. If you possess yourself then your demons are possessing you. If there is an infintesimal chance there is such a thing surround yourself in a white light and this "demon" --self made or not will exit, stage left. Gone. If you worry about this too much it may be a slight chemical imbalance, adjust your own balance accordingly, avoid psychotherapy trust your friends, and maybe herbalist. Good luck. It may be youre just nuts. I am teasing of course. Don't take demons seriously. That drives them away too.

In my opinion, demonic possesion is real but absurdly blamed for the bad behavior of its "host." In modern psychological terms it is usually designated as a personality disorder for which drugs are prescribed. These drugs immobilize the demon and the host's ability to evict it as well. The important thing to remember about demonic possession is that it requires a willing, or at least spiritually vacant, host. This vacancy can occur as the result of severe physical or psychological trauma.
If you feel like you are not alone in your body or like you are "not all there," I would seek out a reputable shaman or a pychotherapist that has been trained to work in the spirit realms.
If you see a demon in someone else, take a good hard look in a mirror!
Blessings, AnnaLisa

To each ones own! My reality is my own I can deal with this, if you have the need to deal with someone else’s reality be it the pain you take on! If you are taken on some sort of pain from a different source than you own soul, then yes I believe you might have come across a demonic demon or even demonic plague! I myself have very serous issues concerning paranormal activities in my reality. I deal with them every day. Now weather they are real or not dose not even matter what so ever, this is MY reality and mine alone. In your reality you may or may not take on other entities or other worlds or choose to be a skeptic all together, that is rally your reality and has nothing to do with anything except yours and your alone!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I myself have paranormal experiences almost as a daily event! This reality has nothing to do with any one but my real world and me. I was talking to a few skeptics just the other day and was telling them about a certain experience I had that was as real as it gets and they both had a half ass explanation for it and told me now isn’t this more of a reality than what you are thinking it was. And I gotta tell you their pathetic illusions of what a reality, even thou it is theirs and theirs alone, was still just pathetic! They can keep their true reality and Ill keep my. Real unreal it does not matter; my reality is my own and will not vary in its path. Their presumption was that it was feeding my ego in order to make myself feel special. Hell I pretty much now how special I am and if MY ego gets any bigger I might have to knock it down myself! LOL! Cute , but demonic demons are as real as you let them be, it you presume there are no such thing, someday you might get yourself in over your head… :2cents:

My nomination for that position is non-useful fears, which is to say ~97% of all human fears.
Useful fears are the ones that enable us to punch harder and run faster under bodily attack
or that signal us when someone really is intruding on our own power. Non-useful fears
are the ones that energize multi-billionaires to kill for more money because
"There's never enough."

I believe I’ve experienced demonic visitation, demonic harassment, demonic derision, demonic driving, demonic love, and even demonic indifference, but never demonic possession. I think they’ve never been interested in me enough for that. I have two gargoyles in my bedroom and a smiling, wingéd cat overlooking my computer. They seem to have struck a balance of power with the demons. It also helps to go easy on the alcohol, masturbate regularly, and remind myself that the negative background brain chatter is just that.

There, of course, is demonic possession, but it's not nearly as serious as possessing demons with intent to sell. The best way to divest yourself of demons is ti smoke them, discreetly and in the company of trusted friends, thereby ridding yourself of your demons forever....unless you, at some point feel the need to experience the company of demons again! (My advice would be, if you foresee some future need, to raise demons on your own - they're willing to pop up almost anywhere.)

P.s. pure balderdash is dangerous, very hard to find, and usually cut with some foreign substance such as merde de cheval. I, myself, stay away from it.
hope I helped

I agree with Stephen - about the pure balderdash part. When I was a freshman in college I had a very unpleasant experience while watching "2001: A Space Odyssey" after I'd had a bong hit of Blue Buddha (pure balderdash). I think my AE35 unit was permanently altered.

Thank you Mykil for a most honest and remarkable articulation. Anyone wishing to truly investigate the issue further can get a copy of "Practical Psychic Self Defense" by Robert Bruce.

These realities are routinely accepted and explored by other cultures but we in the West representing the leading edge of Materialistic Thinking and Values easily dismiss them because it makes us uncomfortable thinking about them. We consider ourselves so highly evolved and sophisticated....we are merely extraordinarily arrogant and dull-witted.
