Is it possible to set email notification so that you get email when a new thread starts, but not to get any subsequent posts to that thread (unless you subscribe to it specifically)?
If this is not currently possible, it would be a pretty nice feature to add.

Funny you should mention that, Brent! Its a feature that I orginally designed into the system and then disabled to make it simpler for users. (that's what those duplicate Daily Digest and Weekly digests subscription levels came from). See my post on the fur thread about unsubscribing from a particular thread. I think that addresses the same need.
