:fairy: I'm a very large woman who loves to dance. I've always been in tune with my body and loved feeling free when I dance. I love modern, belly and some ballet and jazz styles. I've been taking classes on and off since High School and I've considered going back to college to take more.

I'm not professionally trained, I'm more an enthusiast. I'm looking for a group of people or just one other person to meet every once in a while to hang out and have fun moving and creating.

I injured my knee a few years ago so I am not as strong as I used to be. I just want to find fellow dancing fools to have fun and explore movement with.

I live in an upstairs apartment with an angry neighbor who likes very little noise so I don't get to practice much at home. I'd love to find a space to explore and have fun in even if it's outside.

I'd also love to work with musicians. Drummers and guitarists or whatever. Whoever would like to play and move and feel passion.

I'm also a seamstress and I love making costumes for myself and others.

With Summer on the way this Goddess wants to feel free.

Are there any other Goddesses or Gods who would like to join me? :fairy:

Hi;
Im' a probably twice your age dancin' fool myself...
There are several free form dance events that happen on Friday nights at the first corner on morris st. in Sebastopol. go there every Friday night and there will probably always be something going on, Sebastopol com. center, The "teen' center, and Weissman hall next door to each other all have wonderful dance venues happenin' almost every weekend,
Sweat your prayers, Soal Motion, Happens-Dance , Dance jamm
then theirs Monroe hall, and the flamingo hotel in santa rosa plus another big hall I forget the name of who all do partner dance like Salsa Tango walts, foxtrot and a billion other fun stuff.
Then you can sit down for and hour and try to figure out the dance listings in the Bohemian..... I just go to Cotati (with some friends)
and if you are lucky , there will be ,some where in the 7 clubs in that area, one band that is not thrash heavy metal...or maybe you LIKE thrash , biker music and heavy metal...
Quincys has a soul and Funk night with lots of hip hop and rap
on maybe wed.? I forget, a lot of fun and a lot of big girls.Quincys might be in Rodent Park, I forget again...but you can look these up in the phone book.
good luck and have fun
dance is life!
Nico
