once again the digest has been wider than the screen for two days. I do not read, just delete. Be sure to let your advertiser know.

I think that is something to do with your hotmail settings. Mine in gmail is fine.

Hotmail is not known for being attachment friendly. Neither is AOL and though Yahoo is better it is limited in the size.

I often have to have clients get a different email address to send pdf documents too as well as word documents when they have yahoo, hotmail and AOL.

I had the same problem a few days ago (yesterday's digest worked OK) and use Gmail.

This must be a random punishment for using Digest at all.

There is something profoundly asocial and anti-community in wanting to digest us all in BULK.

Why is this suddenly such a problem? Nothing on my end has changed. Many thanks.

If you get (or have gotten) a digest that is too wide, please Reply Publicly and supply the following information:

1) Date of the Digest (from the first line in the digest header that says"

This is your Daily Digest for Wednesday, April 30, 2008 for all your subscribed categories and threads.
2) Your Email Client (ie: How you read your email, for instance: Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, Eudora, Entourage (Mac), Comcast.net website, Hotmail website, Gmail website, etc.)

There's a lot of variability on how email clients display an HTML (formatted) email unfortunately. This is one reason that we will be moving the digest onto the website sometime this year.

Thanks for your help!

Nonsense! It's very efficient to be able to scroll through, and over, everything at once. The time delay can be a problem if people do not post announcements for events and such a few days in advance.

I'm trying to figure out what's happening...:hmmm:

For those of you who are experiencing this problem, could it be that the digest is being split up into two messages? If the digest is "too wide" does it have the both the top header and the bottom footer where it says if you are a supporting member of not (of course you are, right?)

It seems to have something to do with the banner ads at the top of the digest.
