Being rather new to WACCO, please help me if I am mistaken about this. I am one of the probably many of us who receives the daily digest and I do not go to the main site too often. Often and especially on weekends I see posts for events and garage sales that were for yesterday. ooooohhhhh!!!!
Can something be added to the posting instructions, Barry, to remind us all to post our last minute notices Two Days in Advance of the event for the benefit of us dds?

The Wacco digest goes out but not always on time and it is everything posted (in the categories you choose) up to 6pm. Barry has been working on some fixes for the delays. I would personally suggest on Friday you head to Wacco and peruse the events category. There are so many changes and additions its the best way to stay up to date!
And remember what is timely for you may not be for someone else's life.

I am not quite so new to Wacco, but I have the same experience; if I don't have time to check out the website every afternoon, and just see the Digest (which is often emailed after my bedtime, so I don't see it until the next morning!) a lot of sales and events are yesterday's news by then.
If a poster wants to reach the maximum number of people to sell his stuff or to publicize her event, it makes good sense to post it earlier than the day before, anyway. I do live out of town, and am busy, usually; by the time I see a post about some very interesting event, or yard sale, or request for a ride, my day is often already filled with other things.
If I were posting about a yard sale, for example, I'd post the info a few days before the event, and post it a couple of times; this is just good selling sense, I think!
