:hello: Community,
I have had a vision to pull communities together and it is now time to do so.
The rising costs of fuel, the declining worth of the non-gold standard $$$$$$$$$$$, the failure of our credit system, the war in Iraq, inflationary prices, etc. are calling us to pull together. The rapidly changing environment is asking us to stay closer to home and to provide as much as we can toward our own sustainaility. The rising cost of food will be a part of the struggling economy. My solution is to Grow your own!
:WaccoRays:
I will be having organizational meetings in early April which will give you a personal opportunity to simply and efficiently move towards sustainability, with the help of your neighbors. My plan is to implement small gardens which can then be shared in the neighborhood. My intention is to begin planting in May. We will also be offering educational sessions on how to do this, to empower everyone to become a simple farmer, as well as providing nutritional ideas and other life enriching resources.
:attention:
I am looking for 3 communities: one in Graton, another in the area bordered by Hall, and Occidental Road, near Willowside and Summerfield schools, the third within the boundaries of Sebastopol.
Effort will be little, bounty will be plentiful: this idea will work!
Please respond if you are interested and I will get back to you with the dates and times for the meetings.
NEIGHBORHOOD SHARED GARDENS
*a simple way to farm
*creates community
*fun, productive, sustainable
