Rarely does a politician make a speech or take a stand that could
be so controversial that their career could be over. Instead Barack wrote
his own speech that was personal, truthful and courageous to answer the attacks against him. He spoke about the issues of race that are not, but should be, openly discussed. Barack - the real straight talk candidate.

The Greeks have a word for what he did....it means speaking from the heart. Yeah, it was a prepared speech, but the guy didn't even use notes!

Great cadence, structure of verbiage, and choice of language. He is a master of whatever that thingy is! Public speaking? Rhetoric? Linguistics?
Superb. But then, I've never voted for a winner.
It is nice to be spoken to as an adult, not an automaton, nor an idiot.
One of The Great Speeches of America, by the right guy, and at the right time.....or it could have been done a few years earlier.....:2cents:
