Hi - I just finished a book, formatted in Word with images - seeking a printer who can make some advance copies to submit to publishers. Any suggestions in the Sonoma County area?
Thank you,
Matt

Since you didn't mention self publishing positive or negative, Global Interprint in Santa Rosa (College and Mendocino) will hook you up with a cheap foreign printer, much cheaper than a publisher but without the help in marketing. I had my book published this way and the results were outstanding. I think you will need to convert your Word files into pdf files because Word formats slide all over the place while pdf is locked in place. Also, www.Printellectual.com claims to find the cheapest publisher for you.

I've been looking for the same thing - CLone Digital on 5th street in santa rosa will do small runs of even a few books. And for any one of them it is true you have to put your files in pdf and probably change the color register if your images are in color - rgb or cmyk. Good luck
