Hi,
In March I am beginning a fitness program and would love one or more buddies for shared support and encouragement.
I am 57, female, overweight, and out of shape as I've not been able to exercise regularly, or indeed at all, for several years now.
I just joined Planet Fitness In RP (their monthly fee is only 10 bucks) and would love to find other members in similar circumstances. My plan is to do the group fitness training sessions at first and then set my own schedule, preferably morning workouts. I have a glider at home but would be open to doing cardio in the gym as well.
Just finished reading Younger Next Year for Women (which I HIGHLY recommend) and am convinced that there is just no sense in delaying. My focus will be on endurance cardio training and enough strength training to make up for muscle loss and keep these old bones strong. This is not body building. This is getting fit and therefore staying healthy.
It's Spring! Now's the time when you body WANTS to shed those winter pounds and get fit. So how about joining me?
