This is a message of love for my beautiful girl Rogue. I love her so much and am so grateful for the love and loyalty and laughter she has given me over the last 12 years. It is a special kind of bond that probably only dog lovers truly get. I was thinking about this after hearing about the second woman in the last 2 months who lost her life rushing into the wild north coast surf to save their best friends from drowning. I have no doubt I'd be compelled to do it too if my girl was in trouble. My deepest sympathies for the losses for both canines and humans of those families. I want them to know that I understand their love and their loss. It hurts knowing that my girl won't be around for too much longer, but I wouldn't trade our time together for anything.
