I can appreciate your concern. However let me assure you that WaccoBB.net is in no way "intruding" upon your email correspondence with your friends and associates. Let me try to explain what I think is happening:
When you post on WaccoBB.net, your post is displayed on the website, sent out in our daily digest (which most users are subscribed to) and sent out in individual emails to the 25 or so users who have requested individual updates for all posts as well as any of the users who have previously posted on the threads you have posted to.
Your email address is not disclosed on website or on the Daily Digest, however your email address is encoded into, but not displayed, on the individual email notifications.
Your email address is displayed as "<username> @ WaccoBB.net" but the internals of the email knows your email address in order to facilitate a direct email reply, completely outside of WaccoBB.net
Your friends and associates must have added your email address to their email address book from a WaccoBB.net email including using the "display" email address that we supply.
We are not, and can not, "intrude" on any private email correspondence. The reference to WaccoBB.net on your friends and associates emails is simply what is listed in their address books.
I assure you we take whatever steps we can to protect your email address and honor the privacy of your communications.

How can I unsubscribe so people in my life can have my real email address. It's very unproffesional and disturbing.
