Hypothetically (or not), if a person dropped an earring into the toilet, and it disappears down one of the holes, is it recoverable? Even if there was subsequent flushing? My friend says there is a trap where it could have been caught? Please advise, I need the strait 'poop' on this. Thanks!

Most likely you should shop for new earrings. Almost certainly it is gone.

if the earring is bigger than one of your own turts, it is possible that it is stuck.
but if you flushed successfully after that, it is very unlikely.
if you have a septic tank, you might be able to recover from there wearing the right gear of course.

The preacher tied himself up with a wet suit and a dildo stuck up his ass, along with a few other paraphernalia. Because of the way he tied himself up, he suffocated to death and he was found in an advanced stage of decomposition. I was eating something when I read it and suddenly lost my appetite. The police report goes into much greater detail than my post.
I've always held such great 'respect' for religious leaders like Ted Haggard (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Haggard) and this poor hypocrite. I just can't help think about the way they have to lead a double life. Then they go up to the podium in front of large numbers of people and publicly condemn other human beings for the doing the same thing they are hiding.
