Surviving Pluto in Capricorn & Mercury Retrograde - Part 2

This is the third time I have started this section because Mercury Retrograde is playing havoc with my inability to save what I write. [Plus, MS Word doesn't like Lucida Grande font] Full stop. Save!
The variation on a theme - Pluto in Capricorn is a kind of down and dirty, nail down the details and run with gritty reality. It's been hard for me to get this even as a Virgo, since I ally myself with the free wheeling Sagittarius in me. That freedom wheeling and dealing does not mix with the step-by-step process of Pluto in Capricorn. This is an adjustment we all have to make if we are to survive the next 15 years.
October 5, 1971 - Pluto entered Libra. Set the way-back machine… It may be helpful to look at a journal or diary.
August 28, 1984 - Pluto entered Scorpio - my life changed in a big way. What adjustments were you making then?
January 17, 1995 - Pluto entered Sagittarius - it wasn't that long ago. I keep a milestone list of major changes etc. - For instance when I met a friend or changed jobs or residences…
Capricorn deals with events at its coarsest most concrete level. If you don't work on being grounded and paying attention you could have some real trouble. On the other hand, being Present, Grounded with increasingly levels of awareness there are rewards ranging from competence to mastery! One of the greatest attributes about Capricorn is recognition of excellence. The Oscars is a Capricorn Celebration of excellence. The Noble Prize is another Capricorn mark of excellence.
Nevertheless blustery bluffing with great fire and brimstone BS won't get you through unless you've done your homework. So we are in a reality adjustment phase.
Paul Simon mentions this in a song (from Graceland CD) Gumboots:
“Believing I had supernatural powers
I slammed into a brick wall…”
The first line is about coming down from the Sagittarian high and the second line is the Capricorn reality.
If you do not have a Capricorn Sun or Capricorn planets Pluto in Capricorn will affect you over the next 15 years. People with planets (or the descendent, midheaven or ascendant) in Capricorn, Cancer, Libra, Aries, Leo or Gemini will be challenged to grow, surrender and own your power in new ways in a co-creative way with the Universe. Those people with planets or points (see previous sentence) in Pisces, Scorpio, Taurus or Virgo will be easily transformed into power co-creative Beings with the Universe.
NOTE: Every natal chart has a house that is governed by Capricorn. Even if there are no planets or points in that house Pluto will be transiting - traveling through that house and transforming the qualities that are associated with that house.
Maybe this wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have the intensity of Mercury Retrograde to deal with and in an air sign no less. The worst that could happen would be to space out and let reality smack you in the face. I've had as many as four reports of this so far and I hope there's no more of this kind of news. To prevent smacking be present and pay attention. Let me repeat that:

In terms of Pluto in Capricorn its time to begin making reality adjustments or reality may adjust you. Either way life is for learning.

The moon is receptive, shining by reflecting the light of the Sun. In astrology the moon is associated with emotion. The emotions suggested below may not be exactly what you are feeling because the will can override the ebb and flow of mood changes.
The position of the Moon in the sky in relation to your Moon and your planets relates to your changing emotional currents.

Financial reality checks move to the fore! Take the initiative and you will be rewarded.

Special Note: Astrology is a hobby for me. Although people have said I am good at it, my main line of work is healing and intuitively “seeing”. I “see” the best in you and help you to realize your magnificence. Astrology in my mind is a guide and not the gospel truth.
