The ToTeM Ensemble (https://www.hummingbear.net/~aayoung/ToTeM/totemjazz.html) needs a horn player (sax, trumpet, or...?) to complete our ritual-jazz group.
Our jazz rituals are musical events that are designed to take the audience on a purposeful journey into altered states of consciousness. We play selected jazz standards (e.g. Coltrane, Shorter), originals, and free improv., all focused around a predetermined theme.
Our next public performance is tentatively scheduled for May.
