Does anyone have any information about "T" and the 'Eden Project' ?
He is setting up an intentional community in the Glen Ellen area, but it seems rather 'Cult like' to me.

TimoTHY. Yeah, I know him, or at least, I've been in the same place he was a few times. Let's just say, there are reasons he's been trying to get this thing off the ground for decades, but hasn't.

OK then, my gut feeling from reading his posts offering a few acres of land in his intentional community, after bringing him gifts and being accepted into the fold, were probably correct. I wonder how many idealistic community minded folks he has hoodwinked so far?

I don't know that he's hoodwinked anyone. His "charisma" is so unappealing that people tend to avoid him, even if they agree with his ideas. As Jeff said, he's been shopping his Eden Project for literally decades, and doesn't seem to have any following. But I don't think his intentions are evil.

Ah, thank you for that information. I was a little worried that folks who are seeking out an intentional community might need to be warned off of this one, but it sounds like his "charisma" and a little research on his yahoo groups posts should give folks the re-direct they need.
Thanks,
Tom
