I need your help to help someone diagnosed with MS, please. I'm
working with an organization that is part of a group of companies
offering a healing program in China starting Feb. 2nd (other start
dates later too). This program provides a unique combination of
intensive natural treatments, health education and ongoing support for
lasting health, designed to break the pattern of sickness and
reestablish full health for those suffering from MS (multiple sclerosis).
There is also a nonprofit group in London offering financial
assistance to people who wish to attend the February program.
They cover most of the program costs. I just found out that one gentleman
with MS, who is being helped by this nonprofit group, needs additional
assistance. He is a local, and is the primary "bread winner" in his family,
and needs to be able to provide for them while he's in China. He's seeking an
additional $2,000 to pay the rent, utilities and groceries for his
family while he's gone.
He's tried the local MS group, and a few other options, and it appears
it will take too long to receive any assistance that way. I've been
calling people I know, and have a few dollars already collected, but
that seems to also be a slow method. I've left a message at the
United Way, though I'm not sure how quickly they can act either,
especially since they might not get the message until Monday.
Is there anything you can think of to help get these funds ASAP? Or
if you are able to contribute... He's leaving for China this week and
needs to have a clear mind while he's gone to aid in his healing.
