View Full Version : Hippy Dippy Still Single
Not that's it's a problem mind you, but I am a bit concerned. I'm 35 years old and I don't have that special someone in my life. For some reason I'm finding it hard to connect with the right person. I'm not sure if it's bad timing or perhaps I'm not meant to have that one special person in my life. This just might be the time of my life where I'm suppose to work on myself and not worry about finding someone.:hmmm:

Ay....it's this crazy culture we live in I think, Jill...Americans are losing their abilities to bond with each other.....we are the Weak Link!
Or maybe it's just your chart? I dunno....I'm still trying to figure it all out! or not!

I am not single but being new here I have had to go out and make friends.
Man oh man is it hard to be your own mama and kick yourself out the door with "Go Make Friends". It was far easier when you walked out the door and the neighborhood and school were there for you to "make friends" within.
I still kick myself out the door though. I try things; some are more successful than others. Grocery store not a good fit for me, Wacco on line and in life seems better - key is though you have to take it from the computer/meet to real life and that can be daunting.
But I think the key is move from the cold to the warm - to me (though I rely very heavily on it) the computer is cold when compared to a voice or a hug so take a step backwards to the days of the phone and call, make a coffee date, create a meet and attend events.
It's working for me one person at a time.
