The Centre offers goddess jewelry, books of a shamanic nature such as Medicine Woman by Lynn Andrews, and a full stock of her guided meditations and teachings of the Sisterhood of the Shields.

The Centre of Light carries goods made by apprentices and graduates of Lynn Andrews Centre for Sacred Arts and Training. The shop also features other artists, including Ron Leard and jewelry designed by Sohana who uses unusual semi-precious gemstones, high karat gold, sterling silver, Shamanic and Tantric carvings and natural, rare crystals in one-of-a-kind designs intended to enhance your life and well-being. These signature pieces carry the vibration of their colors and reflect the spiritual vitality of Bali, the Island of the Gods, where they are created. Each one has a meaning and a story.
Ron Leard’s ceremonial pipes, convertible pipes, pipe bags, handmade antler jewelry, jewelry boxes, jewelry trees, pot and pan racks are all made from naturally harvested or legally obtained exotic antlers and horns. Being an artist with Cherokee ancestry he has always enjoyed Nature and its wonderful creations. Using artistic, machinist and engineering skills Ron has built many beautifully functional artworks and some that are just made for visual aesthetics, though quality is his trademark.
Drums, rattles, feather fans and medicine bags and pouches leather shawls and collars by Vicki Dobbs of Falling Feather Creations are on show. A selection of meditation CDs from Lynn Andrew’s recent Joshua Tree Events are available as is Lynn’s entire collection of books, workbooks and prayer books.

how about giving us the Center of DARK and LIGHT?
seems like everything that claims to be all light,
ends up carrying a nasty shadow ..

Dear Mark,

I responded to you privately, however I think this space deserves a response as well.

As I said, In shamanism, we honor the dark side as much as the light. It is through this darkness that the light appears and for that the Centre is named. It came to me in a dream. The Centre has seen it's shadows and we are working through them. I trust that the this website will also help us bring more kindred spirits though the door so we can start doing what the Centre is meant for. Drumming circles, workshops and meditations!!! We will work in a balanced manner honoring the powers of the four directions, mother earth, father sky, our male and female shields and of course the light and dark side of all.

Monday evenings are set a side for drumming circle. See the calendar.

in light and love

"Centre of Dark and Light" would certainly be a more unique and bewitching name.

The name "Centre of Light" produces 330,000 Google hits, while "Centre of Dark and Light" or "Centre of Light and Dark" give none.

Dear Zeno,

In all energy there is mystery, light and dark, it's all in the eye of the beholder.
Thank you for sharing, this is not a collective thread on what to name the Centre. It has been named. Perhaps you are testing the energy? Well come on down and feel it for yourself! I'll be open all weekend, do call ahead

Looking forward to visiting your new store, Lisa. Will you be carrying Fred Soll incense, handmade from the Southwest? I used to get it at Earthwood before it closed....love that stuff!

Hi Dr.

Thank you for the tip! I've been using a type I found at the Bioneers convention in Marin in Sept for right now, but I will certainly look into the the Fred Soll creations. If you know the owners of Earthwood Please do mention the Centre I would love to meet them! I am not sure if they are aware of the shop or if they are still in Petaluma. Does anyone know?

The shop is open at weekends, Dr. please do call ahead, I have a day job too and it's tax season, so there may be times when a call ahead will ensure that I am there and ready to help you. If you are in town during the week, just give me a call and I can open the shop for you.
