Who will see it?
People will see your post when they use the website and look at the category you posted it in, or choose the New Posts option, or in the results of a search. Plus it will be included in our Daily Digest email that contains all the day's postings for the categories a member is subscribed to. By default members are subscribed to most categories.
How many people will see it?

Website: In January 2008 there were over 190,000 page views by 34,000 absolute unique visitors (per Google Analytics). The "views" column on the website shows how many people clicked on that thread. It does not count the views that are available by hovering over the thread title.
The Daily Digest goes out to 4,400 members with over 95% if them subscribed to the Events & Classes category and the Products and Services Offered category (4,200+). The Marin category is included in 215 digests at this time (ie people who are registered as being in Marin). The view column on the website does not include all the views of people reading the digest.
How long will this posting be available? How long this posting will be visible (eg. one could still find it by searching or scrolling down somewhere, there may be 1000 new posting ahead of it the following day etc...).
The post will go out one time in the Daily Digest following its posting. On the website, it will be on the top of the category list and begin to age down the list which is sorted by last post date (descending).
It will stay on the site for at least 90 days at this point. This may change to 30 days in the future.
