Thanks to thieves

We just bought an Apple Itouch at Circuit City today. We were pleasantly surprised when they told us that they had an out-of-box sample for $50 less than the usual price; it was the only 8gb Itouch they had in stock. I assumed that it was a typical christmas return item but the salesman informed us that it was recovered from people trying to steal it from the store. The would be thieves had disposed of the box (somewhere in the store, never to be recovered) to better conceal the merchandise on their way out of the building, but, lucky for us, they were intercepted.

So I would like to give a great big hearty thank you to those poor thieves who are now facing charges of shoplifting. Their efforts did not go in vain for my family has benefited from their failed endeavor. I tip my hat off to them.

Nonetheless, sometimes you have to pay more attention to your instincts ;-D
In the past, however, I have complicated my life when I followed what I thought my instincts were telling me to do, so it's all relative (and yes, I know you are kidding).
