SonomaWildlife is the premier list for people who are concerned about the disappearing habitat for wildlife and the erosion of biodiversity in Sonoma County.
The purposes of the list are:
• To inform and alert each other about habitat issues in Sonoma County
• To link up with pertinent concerns elsewhere
• To encourage and assist each other in taking up projects for wildlife habitat, be they on the ground, informational, educational, or protective
• To provide quality information to political decision makers and agency personnel, esp. in General Plan Update processes, evaluations of discretionary projects, applications of water diversions, wetland fill-ins, scooping meetings for CEQAs, EIRs, etc., etc.
• To show that together we care and are a force for wildlife to be reckoned with
