The other night, I put out an invitation for a Yule gathering I'll be hosting on Solstice this year. As I went merrily clicking through my address book, I thought of each person and what joy and personal touch they would bring to the festivities. When I went back and counted up the addresses, I found that I had sent this invitation to over 60 people!
Aside from the logistical nightmare should I get even a high percentage of rsvp's, I found myself in awe of the wealth of friendship in my life. To have so many people whom I would wish to invite into my home... I'm speechless.
I guess sometimes it takes an exercise of detail and planning to bring home the abundance in ones life.
Thanks everyone, for being who you are.
