Hey folks,
When you are replying to a post, please be mindful of what you are quoting. If you are not directly replying to the contents of the post then don't quote it at all. If you are responding to a particular part, please just quote that part, and if you are responding in general to that post, please just quote the first bit of it and add an ellipsis (especially if the original post is longish). The system adds https://www.waccobb.net/forums/waccobb/orangebuttons/viewpost.gif icon in the front of the quote which takes you to the original post that was quoted should the reader needs more context.
Quoting posts, especially long ones, makes for lots of scrolling when reading messages online and fatter/slower digests, also with lots of scrolling.
I hope to put out a video on quoting in the next week or three.
Thanks for helping make WaccoBB.net easy on the readers! :read:
