Email/online discrepancy

OK, here’s an example of a difference between daily digest and online results.
Here’s what i see in my email:

Moon, the daily digest contains only posts made in the last 24 hours before the digest is sent.

The site is showing all threads with all their history which could go back months.

It looks like you used the "New Post" link which displays the thread in order of which was most recently updated. The individual posts from each thread posted during the last day should be in your digest. All older as well as newer posts will be on the website (assuming there are newer ones).

Thanks for pitching in Jeff!

In addition to what Jeff said, the digest cutoff time is 6pm. So even if you receive your at 10pm it only contains posts posted before 6pm.

In addition, the digest is sorted by category, whereas the new post display is strictly by last post time.

You can also customize which categories you get in the digest, but for now your can't on the New Posts listing.

Does that answer the "discrepancy", Moon. If not, please explain clearly what difference you don't understand.
