Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said she will put Impeachment of Vice
President Cheney back on the table if she gets 10,000 hand written
letters asking her to do it. As you know, Cheney is trying to push
through the Congress, a bill to start war with Iran. I am asking you
to not only send a hand written letter but to also email her. Ask
your family, friends and co-workers do the same. Pass this around
by email.
Both her U.S. mail address and a link to her email are provided below
for you. My letter is in the mail and I have emailed her as well. With
enough pen, paper and stamps, we can be heard and counted. (I don't
think they will count by paperless voting machines on this one :wink: )

I have previously made statements against the impeachment of the current misadminstration. However, I've changed my mind. The risk of war on Iran is too real and too dangerous. I do believe it's time to do something to throw a serious monkeywrench into the Bush/Cheney/PNAC plans. I can think of nothing other than putting impeachment "on the table." Kucinich has led the way. There is still hope of actual impeachment, though not much, but perhaps the distraction will be worth the effort. It's hard to imagine much negative fallout at this point, though I did fear a loss of the White House to an actual vote of The People in 2008 if an impeachment effort was made. At this point, it looks like it will be very difficult for the Democrats to lose the White House next year, although, Gore and Kerry offer lots of evidence that the Democrats actually threw the last two elections inexplicably. It's hard to imagine a politician could do much worse at campaigning. Had they stayed home and watched TV instead of making public appearances we'd probably never have had a Baby Bush president.
Enough complaining about the past. How about the future? Cheney first, Bush second?
I'll send an email. Perhaps I'll even write a hand written letter. 10,000? Hel, we should be able to do that in Sonoma County alone. Anybody else interested?

Well, there's been a new awareness around sending snail mail to Pelosi or any other government official. I was told that because of the anthrax scare a few years back, they won't accept the snail mail. Not sure if this is true and am checking around. But if there is any doubt that your letter won't be delivered, Cindy Sheehan is willing to hand deliver them to Pelosi. I apologize for any inconvenience. Judy

House Resolution 333 for the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney is off the House floor, and has instead been sent to the Judiciary Committee for "further study." But, we are told Nancy Pelosi is reported to have replied to the question of impeachment that if she received 10,000 hand written letters she would proceed with it.

thanks for the link!! I did request her to grow a spine and
impeach both. It is my belief that the show will really get going when its time for them to RELEASE power. We may have more than missing "W's" to deal with at that point.
We have had a long run as a "democracy" but as we inch closer to other forms of govt. a close look at history shows that passing power is not something the bad guys will do willingly. I KNOW these men are BAD so if they aren't stopped now I say. One coup two coups we have had already.
no one says it in the news. With two in the belt why not
do it the old fashioned way?? I hate to be pessimistic but
private armies are made for that purpose and from the looks of it, they have one. This is a solid prediction, and the weapons they turn on the rest of the world MAY be turned on us next.....
