Hello Everyone!

My name is Alison, and I want to say HI and I'm Here! My partner, Benjamin, and I have just moved to Sonoma County from New Jersey, and we are SO EXCITED to be here! We have been house-hunting all day today, and think we found our perfect home on Valley View Drive, so keep your fingers crossed for us!

About us: I am a yoga teacher and massage therapist. I'm super-excited about anything having to do with movement, nature, books, folksy-ness. Benjamin is a musician, (piano, voice, flute, sax), with most of his experience in church music directing, jazz, gospel, r&b, motown, etc. We are just starting our job-and-furniture search, and are hoping you can help us out!

If you know of anywhere that is hiring in our chosen fields, AND/OR anywhere that would be good to get furniture (a bed, couch, kitchen table, bookshelves, etc - we didn't bring any with us) on a budget, AND/OR are moving and need to get rid of YOUR furniture, please let us know!

OR if you just want to meet us and say HI, we'd love to start making new friends! You can message us here, or call me at (707-)775-5355 and Benjamin at (201-)214-9141. We're still learning where we get cell service, but if you leave us messages, we'll be sure to call you back!

Hi Alison & Benjamin,
Welcome to a very awesome place on this planet. The music scene is very up and running and there are lots of nice folks here, so I'm sure you'll enjoy your new home. This Sat. Nov. 3rd, the Chris Bramble Band and another opening band, something "Dawg" is playing at the Ace in the Hole Pub from 7 - 10. You can meet some friendly locals and dance and drink beer to some lively music. As far as furniture, there is a large Salvation Army store in Rohnert Park on Redwood Dr., which runs parallel to and west of Hwy 101. They always have lots of furniture and have everything half price on Fridays. Otherwise, there are tons of yard sales and rummage sales going on for your shopping pleasure. That's my 10 cents worth. Maybe we will meet at the Wacco fun(d)raiser on the 14th.

Cheers, Lisa
