I want to take a moment to thank you for running our sidebar for the Haunted Barn project on WaccoBB. This was our second year for the Haunted Barn, and the response was very encouraging. We had a whole bunch more people attend this year. I attribute alot of that increase to the advertising on WaccoBB.
Although the project was organized by adult volunteers, the "actors" in the Haunted Barn were almost exclusively kids. It really warmed my heart to see the enthusiasm and just outright fun all those kids had in taking part. With each new carload of people who visited the barn, the more fun the kids had. I can think of no more satisfying role for an adult, than to provide a situation where kids can express their creativity & joy. Again, WaccoBB's contribution in bringing more visitors paid off in a warmly human way.
When we send the donation check to the Humane Society for their Forget Me Not Farm, with the proceeds from the Haunted Barn, and when we post a thank you to all the kids, we will definitely include a public thanks to WaccoBB, and will include information and encouragement for any interested party to visit your site.
Thanks Barry!
