By the way, i have about two and a half mini-reviews. "In the Valley of Elah"
is Oscar material. It's about all the people in early adulthood who are coming
back from Iraq not just with PTSD but, by any reasonable definition, insane.
"Rendition," on the other hand, makes it look as if anyone from the Mideast might
be aiding and abetting terrorists, when what i've read is that US intelligence
estimates that only about a tenth of all the prisoners at Guantanamo are really suspected
of any connection with anything harmful. The half: In "Michael Clayton," Tilda Swinton,
playing Karen Crowder, is just fucking brilliant.
