My partner Marie and I are forming a new vocal oriented band or seek to join such a group/band.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Our vision is to have at least 4 strong vocalists and a band with Drums, Guitar, Bass and Keyboards.<o:p></o:p>
Vocalists may or may not play an instrument or Instrumentalists may or may not sing.<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
We want to do cover tunes by bands such as Manhattan Transfer, CSNY, Beatles, Eagles, Peter Paul and Mary etc.. <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Our preference for joining a band would be a local Sonoma County band with excellent vocals and a static repertoire, playing about 20-30 well paid gigs a year. <o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
Marie has a degree in Music Education with emphasis in Vocal Performance from Sonoma State University. She also plays backup Keyboards and Guitar.
I have played Keyboards and sung backup vocals in various cover bands for 35 years.<o:p></o:p>
