I am a web designer and currently am having an issue with integrating PayPal into my clients site.

Here is the issue:

On a clients website when someone clicks on an Add To Cart button the user is taken to that clients PayPal shopping cart page, the product is added to the items to be purchased.

If a user desires to do more shopping the user clicks on the "Continue Shopping" button on the PayPal shopping cart page—the expected behavior is that the user is brought back to the original Shopping Page.

This is where the behavior becomes inconsistent—PayPal usually brings the user back the first time but when a second item is added to cart and desires to go back for a third the user is not redirected to the original Company Shopping Page.

Usually nothing happens. And the user must figure out what's happened and navigate back to the company shopping page to continue shopping.

Ideally I'd like for when the user clicks on an add to cart button the user is taken to the PayPal page directly and its respective window is brought to the front. And when the user desires to Continue Shopping they are brought back to the Company Shopping Page which appears in front.

Does anyone know how to do this? Or knows if it can be solved? If so, please contact me asap.

Thanks,

Marcus

I can't help you other than to point you to the PayPal Developer Community at https://www.pdncommunity.com/

Any other PayPal developers out there in Waccoville?

I don't know from web site development, but if i were the client, i'd want to know
what company can implement online payments and not intentionally rip off a certain
percentage of my customers and then reimburse them if they complain vociferously.

Ideally I'd like for when the user clicks on an add to cart button the user is taken to the PayPal page directly and its respective window is brought to the front. And when the user desires to Continue Shopping they are brought back to the Company Shopping Page which appears in front.

Thanks, Marcus

Hey, there are alot of phishing sites out there. Phising is where people make fake websites that look like real websites but are made to steal your information and identity. Paypal is possibly the most phished site. Always make sure its the REAL paypal site. Look for the Verisign logo or do a whois check at www.whois.net (https://www.whois.net) if you use the latest Internet Explorer, its usually pretty good about alerting you about suspicious sites, if your security settings are up to par. Just make sure that the site you're at is legit.
