Hi: Someone advertised awhile ago about Wednesday nite screenwriting classes. I'd like to contact this person but didn't save the number. Appreciate any leads. Thanks, Judy 542-5502

I'd like to offer the following, though it doesn't answer the exact question posted.
I'm on the same path (beginning/aspiring screenwriter), and I have found two books that for me at least were *so* well-written, and so illuminating, that I suspect they are as, or more, valuable than any classes could be:
Story by Robert McKee
Crafty Screenwriting by Alex Epstein
I wouldn't mind taking some classes myself, but I'll tell you, after reading these books (twice each), I would have to be mighty impressed with the credentials of a local screenwriting class instructor to take that class. These books gave me a very powerful sense of being clued into key aspects of the craft, but only after the second reading of each. Hey, sometimes I need two readings to fully absorb material, but in this case I think I just wasn't ready when I read them the first time.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, read those books fervently and hungrily, and you will be feeling almost like you could *teach* a screenwriting class! That's how they left me feeling, anyway.
