In most states (maybe all) an unconsumated marriage is grounds for anullment. A "sexless" marriage was legally grounds for divorce in many states before laws were changed to allow divorce on grounds of incompatibility. Personally, I think it should fall under "incompatibilty" and be considered a private matter and not a reason for divorce. I've known more than one happily married couple who did not have "sex" as most people would define it.

I think that a divorce should have a better reason than a sexual one. A marriage is about love, not about pleasure. Love is always fragile but we have to figure it out so we can be happy with our life partner.

:heart:No. Why ??? I am not sure why. I only know loveless marriage is reason for divorce, not sexless marriage.

Edward,
Do you think it is fair to rake your wife over the coals in public?
If your daughter is a teenager, do you think she reads WACCO?
Is a sexless marriage reason enough for divorce?

My sex life is fine. I brought up the subject because it is a common issue among married couples. It's another 'hot topic.'
Thank you,
Edward

Currently divorce does not require fault in the United States. People are no longer required to provide 'grounds' for their divorce.
"By late 1983 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1983), every state but South Dakota (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Dakota) had adopted some form of no-fault divorce (although some forms were not as easy to obtain as that in California).[7] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No-fault_divorce#endnote_gest) The no-fault revolution was complete when South Dakota finally adopted no-fault divorce in 1985."
