We've been homeschoolers for years, with some Waldorf roots and I'm now reluctantly considering sending my children to school so that I can focus on creating more financial flow (single mom). I cannot, in good conscience, send them to most conventional schools and am wondering if any of you have found a place for your child that is safe and loving, with a focus on fostering high emotional intelligence rather than achieving good Star Test scores. I cannot pay for a private school. My children will be in 4th and 7th grades. Anyone have a good experience with a public/charter school that you can share?

Thanks so very much,

Judy

My daughters went to the Sebastopol Independent Charter School (https://www.sebastopol-charter.org/) which is a traditional Waldorf School and I feel that it has been great them! My elder daughter went on to get straight A's at Analy HS! As with any Waldorf School, your experience there is very dependent on who your child's teacher is.
